I got my surprise last night. The prettiest red roses in a nice red frosted glass vase, and a card. I was totally surprised he had already brought me a tin a Dove chocolates which I've never had them before, but it was super cute that they had the little messages that I knew they had for their individually-wrapped candies beneath the candies in the tin! That's not including the Andes mints that he got as well as soon as they put stuff out. I feel super-spoiled this year.
What is something about yourself that you'd like to change? Are you actively trying to make that change? What helps you most in your self-improvement goals?
I pretty much love myself how I am. What helps most when I do have a goal is to write it down and take one babystep towards it everyday.
Have you ever used a pickup line? What was it -- and did it work? What's the worst one you've ever heard?
No. The worst pickup line I've ever heard was "F*** me if I'm wrong, but don't you want to kiss me right about now?" To which I laughed and walked away.
I made this for my boyfriends father.
The card stock is Stardust White from Wasau Paper Creative Collection
I used my silhouette and a regular ink pen(chomas creations pen holder) to draw the outlines of the stamps onto printer paper.
The mouse Stamp is from http://sliekje.blogspot.ca/
The other one I found on pinterest and I split it apart in silhouette
The sentiment is from http://www.papercraftsmag.com/articles/Card_Creations_9_Sentiments
Then I filled them in with Colored pencils and markers I got from the Dollar Tree and a grey crayola fat marker for the mice.
The highlights on the cherries is white-out.
I used the Martha Stewart Scoring Board and Envelope Tool for folding and an (I can hear the gasp on this one) an Elmer's glue stick for assembly.
